I’ve been back to Bilmonte more times than I can count. It’s hands down my favourite gelato shop in Barcelona, and honestly, one of the best I’ve ever had. Here’s what I always order and why I keep coming back.

You might see a queue, especially during weekends and warmer months. It moves quickly and it’s worth the wait. Usually there is not a queue though.

Double Pistachio & White Chocolate, topped with their pistachio sauce.
✨What I ordered?
🍦Double Pistachio (My favourite gelato flavour here and probably my favourite gelato flavour anywhere. Rich, incredibly creamy and packed with real pistachio flavour without being overly sweet.)
🍦White Chocolate (The perfect pairing with the pistachio. Creamy, smooth and not overwhelmingly sweet.)
🍦Pistachio sauce (If you like pistachio, don’t skip the pistachio sauce. It takes an already incredible gelato to another level.)

Bilmonte is my favourite gelato shop in Barcelona, and the best gelato I’ve had so far.
I’ve tried many gelato places around the city, but I always find myself coming back here. The quality is consistently excellent, the flavours taste natural, and the pistachio is genuinely outstanding.
If you’re only planning to try one gelato shop in Barcelona, this would be my recommendation.
